when you die normally you can get revived with just a kiss the dream body takes over in that case but if killed and placed on your quest bed or you know die on it your dream body ascends becoming the godtier self and you continue on
the secret is the second quest bed and the dream body theres another location besides the main battlefield and the planets the moons the dream bodies are on within each moon is the other quest beds if the dream body dies on it even if you already died once you ascend anyway thats something we found out the hard way so i can back that up
