hey i didn't say anything about not believing in destiny! though i don't think we are 100% bound by it, if that makes sense. it's not some force that's completely iron-clad and unchangeable, in my opinion. i think we have just as much an impact on our destinies as destiny has on us. but that's beside the point. the point is: fortune telling based on the position of clusters of arbitrary connect-the-random-balls-of-space-gas when you were born is just kind of silly. fun to read, i guess, but not really something i would actually take seriously. what is a constellation even like...how drunk were the ancient greeks who looked up at the sky and went "damn that sure looks like a dog right there." spoilers, old dude: it looks nothing like a dog.
if it happens randomly like that then yes, in all likelihood it wouldn't last. but if somebody could figure out what caused the anomaly in the first place, then it might be possible to figure out a way to make it permanent. that was my point.
