[First thing you see? A Duskull is peering into the pokegear. It's red eyes bore into the screen before someone speaks up.]

Hey Slim Shady! Didn't I tell you to stop staring at that? It's like you don't even listen anymore. I'm the dad in this situation and I keep telling you to go the fuck to bed.

[The ghost drifts away from the screen and gives good view of the approaching Dave Strider apple in hand. His hair is an artful mess that really needs cut before it gets any worse. Pacing along beside him is Lady B who is now a Rapiddash. He looks to the flaming horse and sighs.]

Can't take him anywhere I swear. It's like he's looking around for dinner. [Slim Shady the Duskull drifts over to Dave who sets his hands on his hips, opens his mouth and manages to get out 'you fed an hour ago- before he's bowled over by a Krookodile. The apple goes flying.]

Nak nak nak nak nak!

Hey!

[Nakadile gets the apple, and cuts it in half, sharing it with Lady B. The feed is cut by Dratini.]

Either he's deaf, or he couldn't understand what you meant.

[She snickers, ignoring the look Dave's sending her. Her master often glares daggers at her, but even that doesn't bother her.]

I have a little trick I use to get my master's attention and it always works~

He's new. He probably didn't understand.

[Nakadile is very curious about this method.] What is it?

[Daji jumps off the bed she was just resting herself on and midway through the jump a pink light engulfs her. By the time she hits the ground, she's in China's form, though her tail still remains. Soon afterwards, the door can be heard opening.]

Daji, I'm--Aiyaa! What are you doing?!

[The real China can't be seen on camera yet, but Daji's smug expression can. She sends Nakadile a look that says, "See?"]

[Nakadile stares in awe at this and claps at the display. He's very impressed! To show what he can do, he turns around and swipes his tail on the ground, spraying Dave with dirt. The Strider gives him a deadpan look.]</small. Yeah, thanks bro. I needed to go shower anyway.

[Daji laughs and applauds at Nakadile's stunt, but before she can make a reply, the gear is snatched away from her by her trainer.]

What are you doing? Is this on?

[He has the gear face him.]

I apologize if my Zorua has caused any trouble, aru. She's quite the troublemaker.

[Dave coughs once, and walks over to the gear, kneels down to see the person.] It's cool. They were just having a little fun, I guess.

Causing trouble is her very idea of fun, which is why Pokemon often remind me of small children.

[This is coming from someone who had to raise all his younger brothers and sisters.]

...And what happened? Why are you covered in dirt?

They do act like kids don't they? [Dave sighs and gives Krookodile a look. The croc pokemon just Naks at him with arms folded over his chest.]

Not a clue. I was minding my business and suddenly dirt everywhere.

Your Pokemon looks like he had something to do with it.

[He's seen that look of mischief before. His Zorua isn't the first to give him trouble, not by a long shot.]

Oh I would bet on it. He snagged an apple off me.

You have to be careful with hungry Pokemon, some of them will use any means to get food, aru.

One of my Pokemon used to try and eat my hair.

Yeah I figured that when Nakadile went all line backer on and me like we were both fumbling for the ball. I kissed the dirt like a pro and he raced off with his ill gotten prize back to goal posts.

Um... I am afraid I do not understand half of what you are saying. This is not my first language, you see?

K. [There's a pause as he looks down at his pokemon then back up.] He knocked me down so he could get at the apple.

Oh... I don't know why some people nowadays cannot just say things in a straightforward manner.

Speaking of, I don't believe I have ever seen a Pokemon like the one with you before. What do they call him?

Oh Nak? He's a Krookodile. He started as a Sanddile.

Does he always cause you this much trouble?

Nah. This is the first time he's sprayed me with dirt. Kinda surprised by it, I mean why.

Pokemon are just as unpredictable as people, aru.

This one [He points to Daji, who is still in his form.] is always causing trouble, but she's always changing her tactics. I would not be surprised if she had a bad influence on your Pokemon.

They're kinda like non-talking people at times. [He nods once, taking that in.] Probably. I've seen pokemon look like they're have a conversation before. Maybe they became friends, who even knows.

[Daji only snickers as China shakes his head.]

I apologize on her behalf then. She may be a huli jing, but she can actually be quite well-behaved, though those sort of times are rare.

Wait, what is a huli jing?

It's a fox spirit. They're usually female.

Oh. I think the problem is, does she want to behave.

Probably not...

[He looks at Daji.]

She seems to enjoy being a trouble maker.
