[Everyone is greeted by the sound of hoofbeats today, clippity clop before things cut to video as Dave and Lady B his Rapidash exit Whitney's gym. You can distantly hear Whitney claiming it was all unfair as Nakadile walks out with him. Dave and croc fist bump and he keeps walking.]

So that's two down for this region. Probably going to gear up for the next stuff after this. But first, judging from the network mystery eggs we found at christmas are all weird.

[He directs the camera to his Zorua that's black and blue. The mischievous thing is bounding from spot to spot, hopping up on bigger things with one goal in mind.

Seconds later this goal becomes real as Dave holds his arms out and gets a bundle of fuzz in it.] Haven't ever heard of this before so, give some deets on this.

[He pauses to lightly noggie his new bro before continuing.] And what exactly is all the dragons and where. I'm on a mission.

It's a Zorua. [Turning his feed, his Zorua has evolved by this time, but the black and red fox grins mischievously and reaches his long claws at the screen.] Normally are black and red like this. They can change their appearance by use of illusions, and most tend to be pranksters.

Yeah, I know that. I meant the coloring switch. [He studies the other fox. That's three he's seen with the addition of John's and the other guy's who has a crush on him.] Mine doesn't have a name yet, he hatched like...a hour ago.

When they have the color swap, they're called "shiny" Pokemon. Incredibly rare, it's impossible to find one in the wild. [While Vanitas is talking, his Zoroark has stepped back enough to be out of sight and transformed into his trainer, making... well. Stupid faces. Pushing his cheeks together to make fish lips, all that.]

I'd say anything reflecting his personality is the way to start. You can always change their name later if neither you or him care for it much.

Normally Zorua are red and black. Not that I'm complaining, she's an awesome little fuzzball. [He blinks at Trapinch as he leans forward to get a better looking.] What the shit is that?

Well, the Pokedex said he is a Trapinch. He looks a bit like an antlion, and keeps trying to -- [Do exactly what he's doing now, which is digging a hole through the snow until he reaches dirt and starts kicking it up.] No, come back here!

It looks like all the eggs received on Christmas - the ones without senders? - are shinies. I mean, that's what I'm getting from all these posts, and...well, the hatching.

Though given the number of broadcasts regarding strangely hued Pokebeasts, I suspect it may be rather moot.

Curious...I think I may have to start keeping tabs on some of these 'shinies'. Especially now that it's confirmed they can hatch from eggs. [[Don't mind Ms. Breeder here, Dave.]] Would you mind if I included yours in my study?

As for dragons, are you speaking strictly dragon types, or Pokemon that look like dragons but aren't listed as one? Because you cannot convince me that Charizard is not a dragon, and yet Wes is listed as a fire and flying type instead.

You know I wouldn't mind that. I'd like to get my hands on a 'shiny' Eevee. They look cool.

[That takes a moment to think about it. After a minute he nods as Nakadile shuffles forward to collect the wandering eevee because it's going too far away.]

Dragon types and anyone that fits the bill but isn't listed. Have to catch a magicarp and evolve it which gives me another water type. Charizard would be yet another first type which seems to something that just keeps happening to me. Not that I mind.

Personally? So would I. I will have to see if anyone has an Eevee, or perhaps a shiny field type that they'd be willing to loan me for breeding. I have plenty of Eevee stock to choose from, after all.

And alright. This may not be a complete list, but here are the ones I know of and consider to be a dragon, whether or not they are of the type. These are strictly final evolutions, to keep the list a little shorter. Charizard, Dragonite, Kingdra, Tyranitar, Flygon, Altaria, Milotic, Haxorus, Milotic, Salamence, Garchomp and...I think those are all the ones I can think of. You already know about Magikarp. Oh! And Deino. I'm not positive what it evolves into just yet, but it's Dragon type.

Oh! That looks like a Zorua, but it's color is different... so perhaps it is a shiny Pokemon?

[Little does China know that he has also received an egg that carries a Shiny Zorua in it... Then he will have two Zoruas to deal with. Oh, joy.]

Yeah, Rose is a shiny. [Dave has her in his arms and scratching her chin by now. He’s glad to see the guy that introduced him to Zoruas in the first place.]

That’s what I’ve heard. There’s some others but I’m going to see if I can get eggs first before hunting for them specifically.
