Okay, so. After that, [A pause as he looks off screen, away from the end of cycling road that stretches upwards behind him.] report.

[Twitching in that eyebrow just gets worse. It has nearly reached out of control levels. Dave mutters a few swear words and steps out of the frame after kicking the stand on his bike down so it stays in place. He appears a moment later.]

Anyway. Getting to the point of all this. First off, newcomers, yo. Yes this is a real place and if you got questions, just ask'em.

[He holds up a hand and a large Salamence with pointy shades lands quietly at his side.]

To anyone around longer than a week. There was a survey going round before about gathering up who has rolled through here and what worlds have the most representation. We were looking for patterns or something like that. Couldn't find the results, for those of you I talked to. I figure we might as well do another one.

I'll even forgo my red text and do this properly. Because it isn't a joke, it's a fact finding tour of the gear network.

Our universe has a lot of history with this place. Like, before me there's been four other Dave Striders. Quite a few of certain trolls too.

Ah, it's this again? I was wondering if anything had come out of the other survey-were the answers lost somehow? I seem to remember the original survey being tied to a network ID I haven't seen in ages, so it wouldn't surprise me.

How many people are here from your universe? Counting myself, I believe there are six or seven, but there may be some that I'm not aware of and some of them may have left at some point.

How many people have BEEN here from your universe? Again, I can't say for sure. There are some people from my world that are from a later time period, so some may have gone under my radar, but there were seven others I'm aware of. Of them, only two were here multiple times: Tokiomi Tohsaka was here twice, and he retained memories of his previous stay. The other was Rider (also known as Alexander the Great), who was also here two times but did not seem to retain his memories. One was also something of a bizarre case-she was a parallel version of my world, but I presume that she would have existed in the same form in my own.

Again, these are only the people I'm aware of, so my answer may not be 100% accurate.

What's your universe even like? I'm from a version of Earth where things like magic and the supernatural exist, though they're a carefully guarded secret. The average person knows nothing of it, and we magi would prefer to keep it that way... well, in our world, at least. Here it seems somewhat pointless and counterproductive. I can provide a rough outline of how our magic system works if you deem it necessary to know, but aside from that... things like zombies and vampires exist under the proper classification of "Dead Apostles," and practically every myth that you can think of is true to some extent. Things like unicorns and dragons existed, though their like has long faded from the world, and legendary figures such as Cu Chulainn and King Arthur could be considered completely historical-though they'll generally be somewhat different from the legend in some way. Believe me, I've met several of these figures before. True magic is exceedingly rare and can only be accomplished by a certain few, but magecraft allows those gifted with the ability to use it to surpass the average human in many areas.

How long have you been here? About a year and a half. I arrived here on the eleventh of last April.

What's your universe even like: Normal as normal can be. No demons or spirits, no aliens, no talking ponies, no fighting robots, no highly advanced technology, no timelords, no artificial worlds....I could go on for hours but long story short, its just completely plain compared to everyone else's worlds here.
